Who we are

People helping people, with the paperwork done properly

On God Legacy Foundation is an international humanitarian and fundraising foundation. We exist because there are people in real difficulty who have no trustworthy way to ask for help, and people willing to give who have no trustworthy way to know their money arrived.

Why we exist

The gap we are trying to close

Most people who need help do not need a lecture or a leaflet. They need a hospital bill paid this month, school fees found before the term starts, a roof fixed before the rain, or food on the table while things are put right.

At the same time, plenty of people want to help and hold back — not because they are unwilling, but because they have been let down before, or because they simply cannot tell which appeal is real.

We put ourselves in the middle of those two situations and do the unglamorous part: listening carefully, asking for evidence, visiting where we can, keeping records, and reporting back what actually happened with the money.

What we are, plainly

A foundation that receives requests for help, verifies them, publishes the ones that are genuine, raises funds for them, and accounts for every figure — including our own costs.

We are not a lender, not a government body, and not a middleman taking an unexplained cut. Our management fee is published on the site and shown as a separate line on every donation.

What we stand for

Four things we are not willing to compromise on

These are not slogans. Each one costs us something in speed or convenience, and we keep them anyway.

We check before we ask

Nobody is asked to give towards a need we have not looked into ourselves. That takes longer, and sometimes it means saying no. We accept that cost.

Dignity is not optional

The families we work with are not case numbers or photographs for a campaign. We ask permission, we protect private details, and we let people tell their own story in their own words.

Nobody works alone

Verification, money and publication are handled by different people on purpose. It is slower. It also means no single person can push something through unchecked.

Local before global

The people closest to a need usually understand it best. Our coordinators and volunteers live in the communities we serve, and their judgement carries real weight in our decisions.

How people take part

The work is carried by ordinary people

Volunteers, fundraisers, donors and supporters do most of what happens here. None of it is anonymous work — it is people making time for someone they may never meet.

Volunteers

Visiting, translating, checking paperwork, running outreach and helping us review requests fairly.

Fundraisers

Donors
